James Pringle Cook

The Landscape

The paint laden brush strokes glide on the surface of the canvas with each movement choreographed to create the image of a landscape, seascape, or urban landscape. One can hear his brush pressing against the canvas as the paint is manipulated creating Cook's energetic vision of nature. Rich color and texture entice the viewer as each painting has a life of its own.
